My name is Greet van Dam. a few years back, I changed course and graduated from the Photographic Design course in Rotterdam in 2021.
I think my way of looking at the world around me is enriched by capturing it through photography. Then, for me, the process of "translating" it by placing it in my own context begins.
I have different visual styles;
on the one hand, I like clean lines, image composition and details,
on the other, I like to create images with different layers by adding or omitting things, creating something new.
Recurring themes in my work are impermanence, emptiness and lack.
I hope that my way of looking and capturing things opens the eyes of others in a surprising way.
