My photos were taken by a born and bred Arnhem native, who had an early interest in photography. Reproduction of my work in the basement studio stopped when I fell into the trap of printing for family and friends.
For love, I went to Deventer, where my roots also turned out to be. Quitting work became the start of all kinds of new things, photography I took up more seriously. For the first few years, it was mainly registration photos, images with content and meaning.
Gradually there was a development towards more atmospheric images. Because of my technical background, I frequently use tools like Photoshop and Lightroom, but also increasingly techniques like Intentional Camera Movement, Pep Ventosa and, in recent years, Artificial Intelligence.
When making photos, my commitment is that it can also sometimes be different from the rest.....
