About Elske Stolte

Welcome! I love creating and would like to share my work so that more people can enjoy it. I’m most comfortable with pencil, but I also really enjoy acrylics, collage and photography. Recently, I’ve also been experimenting with watercolour. For years, I drew portraits under the guidance of an experienced artist. I’m experimenting more and more with different materials and subjects. Inspiration in the moment, based on beauty and emotion, is my starting point; after that, whatever emerges, emerges. As my 5-year-old son said the other day, ‘Wow, Mummy, you really are a bit of a magician’ :).
