After graduating as a Multimedia Designer from SAE Institute Rotterdam (2001), I began working at the intersection of image, narrative, and technology. For many years, I was active in the magazine industry, specializing in cover design and editorial layout. Alongside my career in visual communication, I evolved as an autonomous artist — starting with acrylic on canvas, then moving into photography and digital creation. Surrealism, magical realism, and contemporary abstraction form the natural territory of my work.
My process is layered — a continuous dialogue between intuition and precision. I compose images using digital painting (Procreate, Photoshop), photography, and since 2022, artificial intelligence. I don’t use AI as a replacement, but as an extension of my imagination — for instance, to create high-end frame mockups that place my work in new visual contexts.
Each image begins with a flicker — an idea, a mood, a vibration. Then comes the shaping, shifting, scaling, the balancing of color, texture, and light. I often work across dozens of layers, refining each detail in Photoshop until the image resonates just right.
Welcome to my world. Look, feel — and discover what lies beyond the visible.
