Hello and welcome
I was born in Frankfurt Germany in 1953 and migrated to Australia with my family when I was 7 years old. Ever since I can remember I was drawing and painting. My mum and dad bought me my first set of costella colored pencils when I was in primary school and I have been painting and rendering ever since.All my school projects I would create as books, hand painting the covers and filling with full pages of illustrations - for history I illustrated London, Moscow, Washington, Berlin- for science - Alligators and crocodiles, birds, monkeys, butterflies, local fauna waratahs and pointsettia's. Each year, during the christmas holidays, we would go camping to Dorrigo and Bellingen NSW. Always I carried my watercolours and coloured pencils - painting local bush fauna and the magnificent waterfalls along with local potato pickers and pig auctions.
This habit was carried through into high school. Eventually I chose a career in graphics & design always knowing that in my retirement I would explore, create and play in fine arts and the wonders of digital creative technology. This is what I do today.
