In the golden hours of an October day, as the sun gently streamed over the Illertal valley, I found myself on the Söllereck, a place surrounded by majestic mountains and a breathtaking panorama. Nature had unfurled its colour palette and the warm autumn tones painted a picture that captured my gaze.
The Illertal valley stretched out before me in all its splendour, shrouded in a mysterious inversion that emphasised the contours of the landscape in a magical way. A hint of mist hovered over the meadows and the few rays of sunlight penetrated it as if creating a magical play of light.
But my view extended far beyond the Illertal valley - the mighty Grünten, a proud 1783 metres high, sat majestically on the horizon. Its peaks were covered in a delicate layer of snow, adding an extra dimension to the panorama. The Grünten seemed to watch over the Oberallgäu, as if it were carrying the stories of the region in the waves of its peaks.
In this moment of pause, my self-made panoramic photo captured the fascination of this afternoon in October. The colours of autumn, the mystical atmosphere of the inversion weather and the sublime presence of the Grünten came together in this picture to create a poetic expression of the beauty of Bavaria, Germany and even Europe.
It was more than a simple photograph - it became a visual narrative, captured in a single, magical moment on the Söllereck. A panorama that touched the soul and captured the eternity of a golden October day in the Oberallgäu.
