In the golden veils of autumn, a picturesque panorama spreads out before us, celebrating the beauty of the vineyards in the Ahr valley, more precisely in Mayschoß. The parish church, a historic landmark that has stood the test of time, sits majestically against this breathtaking backdrop.
The rolling hills of the vineyards, cloaked in a play of warm red colours, proudly present their magnificent harvest. This is where the noble Pinot Noir and Portugieser vines thrive, whose grapes form the basis for the unique red wine for which the Ahr Valley is known worldwide. The grapes seem to glow in the warm sunlight, as if reflecting the passion and dedication of the winegrowers who tend these precious fruits with care.
The Ahr Valley, nestled in the picturesque landscape of the Eifel in Rhineland-Palatinate, reveals a harmony between nature and culture.
