It is characterised by perspective distortions and repetitions. It consists mainly of different shades of grey, blue and white. The composition appears to be designed like a vaulted space, with symmetrical patterns reminiscent of interlocking staircases and arches. These shapes create an optical illusion that gives the viewer the feeling of being drawn into a deep, spiralling structure.
The background consists of angular, block-like patterns arranged in concentric layers, with some parts looking like steps or edges leading inwards. In the centre of the picture there is a double-curved, almost eye-shaped section that reinforces the effect of depth.
The clear use of lines and shapes creates a visually fascinating and confusing overall picture, reminiscent of the works of M.C. Escher, where space and perspective are playfully manipulated.
