About the artwork

In "Doggystyle", Denny Stoekenbroek captures the charm and curiosity of a young Boston Terrier with only charcoal on paper. The pup is caught in a moment of wonder, gaze raised, ears pricked - as if something just out of frame is attracting his full attention. This small pose says it all: a mixture of playfulness, watchfulness and expectation.

The background is kept completely white, which makes the dog's expression and shape stand out even more. This makes the animal almost an icon - a pure character detached from its surroundings. The technique is typical of Stoekenbroek: subtle, full of nuance and at the same time bold in contrast and use of lines. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
