About ‘Zoutelande sailboat’ by MSP Canvas

I photographed this breakwater in Zoutelande, Zeeland (NL) at the beginning of sunset when the sun was still high in the sky. After the tide turned, the breakwater was underwater and beautiful soft yellow colours appeared in the sky in the background and some clouds hung around the sun. In the distance, I saw a sailboat approaching from Westkapelle, a nice subject and adding element to the photo. I waited until the sailboat was in the right place in the picture before taking this shot and the timing was right.In doing so, I chose to make the breakwater almost frame-filling in the picture with the viewer's eye going via the breakwater to the sailboat, the main subject in this photo. A beautiful memory and a soothing moment...beautiful on the wall !
