About ‘Zebra – Timeless stripes’ by Daan Okhuijsen

This close-up of a zebra showcases the beauty of one of nature’s most recognisable animals. The distinctive black-and-white stripes form a stunning graphic pattern, whilst the alert gaze and pricked-up ears give the animal a lively and curious appearance. The soft, green background provides a lovely contrast and allows the zebra to really come into its own.

By capturing the animal up close, the fine details in its coat and the unique pattern of its stripes are clearly brought to the fore. The natural light accentuates the contours of the head and mane, giving the portrait an air of both strength and elegance.

With this photograph, I wanted to capture the zebra’s distinctive character in a serene and timeless image. The combination of natural colours, strong lines and a balanced composition makes this piece a stylish eye-catcher that would be a wonderful addition to both a modern and a natural interior.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
