About the artwork

This world map is specially designed to order as a Wall Circle (Round print).

This world map is painted by Ricardo Bouman, a graphic designer, painter and owner of a design agency in Zoetermeer.
The original painting is made with watercolors and ecoline on 300 gram watercolor paper and has a size of 160x90cm.

This special world map has subtle and bright colours that have a clear connection with nature and the climate of the country and continent in question. South America consists of (dark) green and yellow shades, South Africa of (dark) green and yellow shades and North Africa of yellow and orange shades for the desert areas. Canada and Greenland have fresh shades of blue and Australia green, orange and red earthy colours. North America, Asia, Europe, Scandinavia and Oceania (near New Zealand and Fiji) have a mix of warm and cold colors.

This world map has a double function, because the work of art not only embellishes the interior, but also supports charity. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the CARE Emergency Relief Fund.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
