This photo shows the Zeeland village of Wolphaartsdijk seen from the point where the Katse ferry used to leave for Zuid-Beveland. I photographed the setting sun with a telephoto lens to get a good view of the characteristic Nicolaus church and to depict the sun large. The Oosterschelde can be seen in the foreground. To the left (outside the picture) is the Sand Creek Dam.
Sometime in 1980 Jan bought his first SLR camera and since that time a camera has always been at his fingertips.
