About ‘Winter on Viðey’ by Frans Blok - photos, art and other wall decoration
Viðey or Videy, is an island in the Kollafjørður near Reykjavik, Iceland's capital. The island is virtually undeveloped, except for a single tavern. On this winter day in February Viðey covered with a thin layer of snow like icing sugar. The mountains on the other side of the fjord carry much more snow.
