The Wiel at Beers is frozen solid. Finally you can skate on this pond. This picture is made with a special adapted camera. This camera doesn't register normal light, but only light in the infrared spectrum. This makes every picture a surprise, because you can't see directly what the camera is observing. Filters allow you to choose which wavelength of infrared light to let through. By switching the red and blue channel later in the post processing the photo is converted into a so-called false colour photo. It gives a certain atmosphere to a picture. Beers is a small village in the Land of Cuijk.
