Wind fledglings on the western beach of the peninsula Fischland-Darß-Zingst, taken on an October day. Wind fledglings are trees or shrubs whose growth form is determined by the wind blowing predominantly from one direction. On the west beach of Darss, the growth pattern of the photographed conifers is clearly dominated by westerly winds.
