About ‘Wild sea’ by Jim Plaum

The picture shows a rugged coastline where the sea slams full force against massive rocks. The waves are wild and tempestuous, whipped up by the wind, and burst against the stones in an explosion of white foam and splashing water. Each impact seems to highlight the power of nature - raw, loud and fearless. The rocks stand firm and unyielding in the water, dark in colour and glistening from the wet surface. The contrasts in the picture are strong: the deep blue and grey of the turbulent water against the hard, dark rock, and above it, perhaps, an overcast sky reflecting the menace in the air. The image exudes energy and movement, almost as if you can hear the roar of the sea and feel the salt spray on your face. This scene shows the unpredictable and untamable power of nature, but at the same time its beauty. The moment is full of tension, captured exactly at the point where water and stone collide - an interplay of power, rhythm and timelessness.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
