About ‘Whistlewort’ by Hanneke Luit

Whistlewort colours the roadsides white from April onwards. It is a member of the umbellifer family and is officially called Anthriscus sylvestris. The screens consist of many small flowers. From the stem you can make a whistle. The plant has a beautiful pinnate fern-like leaf. When the flute flowers it is really spring.
