For several days already, threatening clouds drift over, waves pound the shore and one downpour follows another.
Autumn storms have made their appearance and nature is at her best when she lets puny humans know who is the greatest.
In between the showers, there are also little people who want to capture all this beauty with a camera and that is what happened with this moment.
As a photographer, I feel happy when the image I want is captured, even if it results in a wet suit and I wonder whether the camera can handle that.
Later at home (and dried out again), the photo comes out even more during development and accentuating the atmosphere. Occasionally, I then prefer to print the image to see it again and again. That may be true for more people!
The photo was taken with the camera on a short tripod that I pressed firmly into the wet sand. A so-called ND filter - a kind of sunglasses - on the lens made the shutter speed slower and the water splashes changed from dots to stripes to get more dynamics.
