About ‘Wet daffodils’ by Lianne Weijs

Beauty doesn’t have to be far away; sometimes it’s enough to take a quick stroll through the garden with your camera after a rain shower. Nature then reveals little wonders that you would otherwise walk right past. This photo shows one and the same daffodil, photographed from three different angles. The daffodils stand out fresh and bright against the deep black background. The fresh yellow hues, the delicate water droplets on the petals and the subtle differences in posture give the flowers an almost sculptural appearance. The strong contrast beautifully highlights the shapes, textures and details of the daffodils — from the trumpet-shaped centre to the soft, layered petals. It is an image that exudes both simplicity and elegance. Daffodils symbolise new beginnings, spring and optimism, and this photograph captures precisely that feeling. What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
