About ‘Waterfall’ by Lex Schulte

Godafoss, one of the waterfalls of Iceland in the north of the country. The Goðafoss is one of the larger waterfalls of Iceland. The waterfall is located in the Myvatn district, in central north Iceland at the beginning (or end) of the Sprengisandur route that runs across the country. The water of the Skjálfandafljót River falls over a width of 30 meters 12 meters downwards, and the Goðafoss is divided into rocks by rocks. In the year 1000 AD, at the parliament at Þingvellir, it was decided to accept Christianity as a national religion (at least outdoors, if you could still worship the ancient gods.) The designer of this construction, Thorgeir Thorkelsson, the lawyer, who is on his way to his house At Ljósavatn came along the Goðafoss, as a reminder of his conversion, he cast his pagan idols into this waterfall. Hence the name: Godenwaterval.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
