About ‘Water Castle, Gustav Klimt’
Water Castle, Gustav Klimt (1908)
Klimt’s landscape-themed paintings were mainly produced during the artist’s summer sojourns. In the years 1900-1916, Klimt and his partner Emilie Flöge, an avant-garde fashion designer of Vienna, spent summers by Lake Attersee in Land Salzburg.
