About ‘Waiting for the Water’ by Maartje Punt
Zanzibar, off Africa's east coast. It was low tide, the water had receded far back. A group of boys waited on their traditional wooden sailboat until the tide came in. The wind still blew against the sail, but it got them nowhere. A contrast between stasis and movement.
