About ‘Village Namche Bazaar’ by Ton Tolboom

Namche Bazaar is a locality in the village commission Namche in the Solukhumbu district of north-eastern Nepal. In the village is a police station, post office, bank and school. Just on the other side of the mountain lies Syanboche Airport, with charter flights to nearby Lukla.
