Amsterdam has many canals and as many vistas. This work was taken from the right side of the Herengracht. In the foreground the cabin with the stovepipe of a houseboat, behind it a fine canal house with a bell gable. Through the narrow Roomolenstraat the roof of the Koepelkerk looms up.
