About ‘Utrecht in black and white’ by Jan van der Knaap

Part of the inner city of Utrecht right behind Hoog Catharijne. To see is Voor Clarenburg, which leads to the crossroads of the Long Elisabethstreet (left), the Steenweg (right) and the Baker Street. I made this photo from the balcony of the Mirliton Theater in Hoog Catharijne, during one of the rare openings of the theater. Since the Mirliton theater will be discontinued in the foreseeable future, it is likely that this image will no longer be possible from this perspective. The Dom Tower at right is visible together with the tower of the Buurkerk on the Steenweg. This image is part of the Modern History series.
