About ‘Under the parasol’ by Lydia van Wingerden

How beautiful nature is in autumn. These porcelain mushrooms stood beautifully in the rays of light shining through the trees. It had just rained, but occasionally some light came through the dark clouds. When you lie on your stomach in the forest, you really see how beautiful these creations of nature are.
They are little umbrellas, where insects shelter from the rain.
With a creative lens, I regularly play in the forest to capture nature in a creative and picturesque way. Playing with light and point of view, an image emerges.
The peace I experience while making the images, I feel back when I look at them.

I am Lydia and most of my time I travel around the world. My camera is always with me. I like to photograph people and animals and street life in different cultures.
During the corona pandemic I had to rely on my own environment and it is beautiful. I then focused more on macro photography and creative photography. During my many hours in nature I learned to look differently and playing with the light I came to surprising and beautiful images.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
