This is a composition of a moon picture and a picture of a thunderstorm complex, which I had both lying around. So this situation never happened. I was playing with the pictures and trying to make the image realistic, as far as I could here: the moon together with a thunderstorm in the sky is not very common. In that sense, this image is quite special. I had to let the clouds slide before the moon and I managed to do that here. After that, the lighting of both photos was matched to each other and gave the whole a nocturnal look, because the thunderstorm was taken in bright daylight during the day.
I like the blue glowing edges around the clouds. They give an electric charge.
