About ‘This man doesn't matter, just having himself’ by Rianne Witteveen

A man made up of lines. And a red infill. The basis of this work is a silkscreen. The man can reach the ground with his fingers. Where you can think if he is working. but it can also be that he is testing his agility.
Slightly bent at the knees. But which is completely naked without anything. His suppleness also has a form of transparency, of nudity.
This man doesn't matter, just having himself.

The human body inspires me. And challenges me to put it down in lines, without the flatness of the work remaining too flat. The silkscreen technique allows me to work freely and directly. And to apply a second color that is not too sterile in the existing form.
Normally I work with zinc. This also felt like coming home.

This work gives quirkiness. Nude without a vulnerability or shame. it is free and challenging.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
