"The waves are coming! " Is a photo I took on the coast of Zeeland (To be more precise: on the beach of Cadzand in Zeeland, the Netherlands).
The waves were beautiful that day, and for Dutch bergrippen these were quite "wild" waves.
On the left side of the photo, you can see a row of breakwaters, literally disappearing into the waves.
If you zoom in on the picture, you can see that the sharpness of the photo is approximately at the point where the pilings disappear into the waves. Due to the camera settings chosen, even the droplets splashing away in this area of the photo can be seen quite nicely. As if time stood still for a moment. The further forward and back you look, the fainter the sea with waves become. This creates a sense of depth in the picture and also gives a calmness to the image.
This work can hang beautifully as wall decoration, (on Aluminium, ArtFrame or wallpaper, for example) in a holiday home, bedroom, hallway or simply above the sofa in the living room! Or as wall decoration on the wall in a waiting room, office or meeting room (business).
