About the artwork

Wat Luang, in the centre of Pakse, is one of the oldest and most important Buddhist temples in southern Laos. It attracts devotees and visitors alike with its architectural elegance and soothing atmosphere. With its richly decorated roofs, glittering gilding and delicate carvings, the temple embodies the richness of Laotian religious tradition. Inside, Buddha statues, murals and offerings reinforce the feeling of sacredness and invite contemplation.
A lively place, Wat Luang is often enlivened by the chanting of the monks, the prayers of the faithful and Buddhist ceremonies. It is also a centre for teaching and meditation, playing an important role in the spiritual and cultural life of Paksé. Wandering around its grounds, among the stupas, frangipani trees and colourful frescoes, you feel a deep sense of peace.
Wat Luang is not only a religious site, but also a witness to the history and resilience of the Laotian people, still attached to their roots and beliefs.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
