About ‘The red ibis’ by Maickel Dedeken

The red ibis has a remarkably long bill and beautiful red feathers. You can find it in the wild in South America, where it searches for crustaceans (mainly shrimps & crabs) in the mangroves.
The carotene in its diet also accounts for the ibis' deep red colour, which reflects beautifully in the lake here.
