Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘The last boat on the lonely jetty’ by Judith Kuhn

This melancholy picture shows a quiet moment on the shore: a jetty leads into the water, with a lantern burning on it - its warm light contrasts with the cool morning air. A single sailing boat lies at the end of the jetty. The mast has already been lowered - an unmistakable sign that the season is over. It lies lonely but calm in the still water.
The background is dominated by a subtle sunrise. The light fights its way through high fog-like clouds, it is subdued, almost reserved. Nevertheless, it colours the sky in soft pastel shades - a delicate pink, pale gold, with cool blue-grey in between. This lighting mood covers the entire scene and emphasises the calm transience of the moment.
The water is smooth, almost motionless, reflecting the lantern and the boat only slightly - as if it didn't want to disturb either. This picture is a silent homage to the end of summer. It tells of tranquillity, of the end of an active period and the beginning of the transitional phase in which nature and people alike come to rest.
