About ‘The drinking squirrel’ by Guy Bostijn

It was windless that day and although we arrived in the pouring rain, the cloud cover opened up for us in the morning and the rain was replaced by a little water sun. It was as if nature was also waiting for it and all the little animals came out, they revived, just like us, because we suspected that our day was doomed to be a flop!

The water in the drinking pond functioned perfectly as "mirror" and my grateful friend the squirrel ensured that I was treated with this image, two squirrels for the price of one. Several species of birds were also in attendance and came willingly to pose in front of our hide. It was my first experience in the field of nature photography and it won't be the last either because how beautiful can it be or become in the end. I am sure that this photo can not only brighten up your living space but also add value to it!

All-round photography with a preference for Urbex and street photography. The depiction of the past began with a vulgar visit to the village of Doel in Belgium and made the microbe strike in a world of unforced imperfections.

I work with Nikon D850 and Nikon D500, both of which are top-notch devices resulting in razor-sharp images. Also, all images are taken in RAW format, easily translated, I still have to "digitally develop" them myself. Just that makes…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
