About ‘The cliffs of Etretat, France’ by Henk Meijer Photography

Evening falls over Etretat, on the Normandy coast in western France.
When you visit Etretat - and especially the Pays de Caux plateau - you quickly learn the names of the extraordinary rock formations formed here from chalk and flint: Courtine (the curtain), Manneporte (the arch), the Vaudieu rock and the Aiguille (needle) of Belval.
