The Twiskemolen is an eight-sided reed-covered ground-sailer between Landsmeer and Oostzaan (where the border between these villages runs through the middle of the windmill) in the recreational area Het Twiske. It has a flight of 24.00 meters. The windmill was built here in 1974, after it had initially stood in Barsingerhorn for the drainage of the Hooglandspolder. The year 1572 and 1974 are therefore mentioned on the beard, although the mill in Barsingerhorn was already known from 1525. The mill was purchased to drain the Polder Oostzaan.
