The Schiessentümpel is a small, picturesque waterfall in the Black Ernz. With an artful stone bridge and impressive rocks in the Mullerthal Region - Luxembourg's Little Switzerland.
The sandstone bridge, now a symbol of the region, was built within four months between 20 March and 27 July 1879 by stonemason Jean-Pierre Prommenschenkel from Christnach. At the time, the bridge was built with steam lime and sandstone and it still stands as it was built at the time. The wooden railing was added a little later and renewed several times over the years.
By using a slower shutter speed, a silk glow was created over the water.
Now, in 2019, I shoot about 11 years seriously. The last years with an SLR. I Like going in shooting early in the morning when it is still quiet and the Sun has yet to rise.
