The Mercedes SSK 710 is an automobile that has achieved great popularity in Germany as well as throughout the rest of the world for its smooth-sailing performance. The first Mercedes-Benz was introduced in 1930 by Dietrich von Moltke and he named it the "Sportscar".
For years this Mercedes SSK 710 has maintained its high standard and served as a reliable vehicle. The original design was inspired by the streamlined sports car that the famous automotive designer Mario Lanzarote designed. The end result was a sleek sports car that had very little room inside. Today, you can find luxury cars that are more spacious than the original "Volkswagen". The "Sports Car" name was given to help advertise the low price of the car at the time. Mercedes Benz made a real commitment to making this automobile a top choice for sports car collectors around the world.
The Mercedes SSK 710 model made its first appearance in the Paris Motor Show in March of 1930. It was just the beginning of a long and successful relationship between Mercedes and Volkswagen. Today Mercedes Benz cars remain a historic and valuable collector's item because of their durability and long life span.
