Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.

A solitary man in a smart suit walks across the deserted platform of the historic São Bento station in Porto, illuminated by the harsh glow of the fluorescent tubes. The deep shadows, the repetitive lines of the tracks and the classic station doors give this photograph a timeless, cinematic quality – something I often strive for in my narrative street photography. This photograph is perfect for lovers of raw street photography, narrative images and urban melancholy.
