The John Frostbrug, popularly known as the Rijnbrug, is a road bridge in Arnhem-Centre over the river Nederrijn. The bridge is named after the English lieutenant-colonel John Dutton Frost. In the Second World War, the bridge played an important role in the airborne landing and battle of the Allied Forces in September 1944, as part of Operation Market Garden. The bridge has become a place of pilgrimage for veterans, relatives and others interested in the Battle of Arnhem.
