Tips for use

The Grand Mosque of Damascus, also known as the Umayyaden Mosque, is the most important mosque in the Syrian capital Damascus. The mosque is an important building both spiritually and architecturally. It is also special in that it contains the head of John the Baptist as a relic, considered a prophet by both Christians and Muslims.
