Bláa Lónið or 'The Blue Lagoon' is a geothermal bath on the Reykjanes peninsula near Grindavík.
The bath is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Iceland.
This landscaped lake is located in a lava field near the geothermal power plant of Svartsengi.
The water, which is rich in minerals, silicates and blue-green algae, has a temperature of about 40 degrees Celsius and contains about 2.5% salt.
The white deposit on the bottom gives the lake a typical milky-light blue color.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
