A large, solitary tree stands firmly rooted in an open landscape, its branches swaying vigorously in the wind. The foliage moves undulating, as if the tree is resisting and moving with the force of nature. Behind the tree, heavy, threatening clouds gather - deep grey and blue, with a tangible tension in the air, as if a storm is about to break.
Between the clouds, a beam of sunlight suddenly breaks through the cloud cover. The light hits the crown of the tree and the grass around it precisely, creating a golden glow in the middle of the dark landscape. The contrasts are strong: dark versus light, turmoil versus silence, threat versus hope.
In that moment, the tree becomes a symbol of steadfastness - illuminated, but not unmoved. A powerful, almost poetic image of nature, struggle and beauty all at once.
I am an image-maker with an eye for detail and a sense of atmosphere. My work is best described as minimalist and conceptual, often with subtle layers.
