About the artwork

The picture shows a close-up of the Skyfire iris variety, a tall bearded iris with intense yellow, slightly ruffled petals. In the centre of the flower, the colour tones intensify to a warm orange, giving the motif a natural depth. In the background, another flower of the same variety is indicated, slightly out of focus, embedded in green foliage.

The inspiration for this picture was the striking colour effect of this variety in the morning light. I was interested in how the strong yellow colour could be combined with the orange accents to create a harmonious yet exciting composition. The aim was to capture this visual energy in a calm, focussed image section.

The atmosphere I want to create with this work is lively and warm without being intrusive. It is about presence - about the conscious perception of colour and form in detail.

In interior design, this painting is particularly suitable as an accent in light-coloured or neutral rooms. It brings a natural luminosity and floral texture that is both invigorating and balancing - a quiet but powerful element.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
