About ‘Swallows’ by Rinnie Wijnstra (FotoAmeland )
The barn swallow is a true farmland bird, an aerial acrobat of the farmyard. Nests are preferably made in barns, sheds and the like where they can fly in and out. From April to October they stay in the Netherlands, winter is spent in southern Africa.
