Sunset at The Little Harbour on the Oldambt Lake. Beautiful pastel shades in the sky and 1 boat moored in the little harbour. The thought goes through me to get a long shutter speed where the colours in the sky blend and the ripples in the water become flat. The long shutter speed will cause the boat to move which I like in the picture.…

I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.

Many photos were taken in the province of Groningen and along the coastline. During sunrise and sunset are the moments where the light plays with the surroundings. A very rewarding place to photograph.
