Past Forward
This collage unfolds as a dream world where architecture, colour and playfulness merge. It is based on an old architectural drawing in a deep, cobalt blue colour.
In the middle of this wondrous city, a huge fan form rises, like a living monument of movement and expression. Between the buildings and the fan pops up something that doesn't quite seem to fit into this architectural dream world: a collection of tin toys. Two clowns balance on their hands, while a circus elephant performs an act. The circus brings playfulness to the structured world of architecture. It is a reminder of childlike wonder that should never be lost.Together, they form a timeless tableau, where the past and the future meet in a dance of imagination.
