About the artwork

During my travels, I see cities, buildings, views and roads that touch me. Often they are places that other travellers will also recognise. I like to capture them and enjoy giving these photos a place in my home. Adding the name of the location, and sometimes the coordinates, makes them even more meaningful.

I took this photo during my trip through Italy, in the Dolomites. It was my first time there, and I was immediately impressed by the huge mountains. Those rugged cliffs looming just like that - it's a landscape that stays with you. When I stopped to take the photo, the sign by the road caught my eye: 'Strada Dolomites'. That had to be the title, simple but fitting.

This photo fits any interior. The black-and-white style is timeless and calm, making it look great in a living room, bedroom or study. Hang it as an eye-catcher above the sofa or on a blank wall. The work exudes a mix of peace and adventure and brings a piece of nature into your home.

What makes this picture special is that it not only shows a landscape, but also evokes a memory. It is an image that inspires you to go out, discover new places and reflect on the beauty of what you encounter along the way.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
