Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Ston Island met zonsondergang’ by Ton de Koning

Stone Island, een schiereiland aan het Brokopondo Stuwmeer. Fascinerend en bijzonder aan het stuwmeer zijn de boomstronken, die nog steeds grillig overeind staan. Het tropisch hout rot niet onder water omdat er geen zuurstof bij kan. Het stuwmeer is in de jaren zestig ontstaan ten behoeve van de bauxietverwerking. Hiervoor werd circa 1560 vierkante kilometer (iets groter dan de provincie Utrecht) aan tropische regenwoud onder water gezet. Brownsberg ligt hier vlak naast. Beide liggen zo'n 130 km van Paramaribo af.
