About ‘Stars by the sea’ by INGO

This contemporary impressionist painting depicts a woman seen from behind as she walks along a narrow sandy path through the dunes towards the ocean. Her long, blonde braided hair stands out clearly against her striking attire: a two-piece red outfit richly adorned with star-shaped motifs, paired with a skirt featuring soft, feather-like textures. The warm red tones of her clothing form a striking contrast with the natural, lighter colours of the landscape around her. Dune grass grows on either side of the path, rendered in a loose and fluid style, whilst a simple wooden fence runs alongside the path, adding depth to the composition. Before her stretches a wide sandy beach that gradually merges into the sea, beneath a light, slightly cloudy sky that lends the whole a calm and open atmosphere. The figure’s line of sight, together with the composition of the path, naturally draws the eye towards the horizon and reinforces the sense of movement and destination. The painting style is expressive and highly textured: the paint appears to have been applied thickly with a palette knife or broad brushstrokes, creating a distinct impasto texture. This tactile structure not only lends relief to the surface but also emphasises the liveliness of the dune landscape, the drape of the clothing and the dynamism of the scene as a whole.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
